May God's love and blessings be upon you all in this prosperous year onwards.
Two extreme events: the worst Christmas ever and the best New Year ever.
As to what happened... it's too personal to tell.
Simply said, I was in the worst condition at Christmas (ill, depressed, frustrated, down, etc), but I got the nicest surprise in New Year :)
I didn't do much at Christmas. Only staying at Gran Mahakam hotel and had dinner at Aoki Japanese restaurant there (we got free vouchers from the owner of the hotel) for a night (Dec 25-26).
I just got back from vacation (Dec 29-Jan 1). My family and I went to Central Java: Semarang (where I was born), Yogyakarta (spent New Year there), and several more cities on our road trip in between the former 2 cities.
Anyhow, I hope everyone had a joyful holiday!
