the dreadful kidney stone

elyseMy mom was diagnosed with a kidney stone, for the 2nd time. This one is pretty big, too, about one third the size of a kidney! A major surgery is needed, because of the large size, making it impossible to use other easier methods (such as ESWL).
She had had a kidney stone (smaller in size compared to now) removed before in Oct 2002, using the ESWL method. Many articles I've researched online say that "once a person gets more than one stone, other stones are likely to develop". It's also hereditary, making it easier for me & my brother to develop stones. But because we siblings love to drink lots and lots of water (like, more than 10 glasses a day!), I'd like to think that the chance is minimized.
As much as I should be worried about mom's major surgery, I'm more faithful than ever.
The major surgery is scheduled on Feb 23rd. Please pray for us ^^
