Yeees, that's true! Well, one of the main reasons, yes. Now that my interest in jdramas has decreased, I find 10+ episodes too long for my patience & liking. I simply hate dragging stories, I usually stop in the middle & jump to the ending. My first try of kdrama was Witch Amusement (Witch Yoo Hee) & I only watched episode 1 & 16 :P --> that's because I wanna see the ultimately handsome Dennis Oh that my friend so loves ^_~
I don't even wanna watch HYD, Hanakimi, etc, because of the dragging stories (I'm already fed up with the manga & I don't even finish the manga!). Kimi wa Petto sounds tempting because of Koyuki, but the guy... I don't really wanna see "idol actors" on screen unless the story is really really good or entertaining (like Yukan Club --> because I read the manga & I like it, although there are too many idol actors in the drama).
