I just had an astounding experience last night!

About 5.30 in the morning, while I was soundly sleeping, I was awoken to a strange feeling of something crawling on my left shoulder towards my face. In the darkness of my room, I couldn't determine what it was, but my right hand shooed it away reflexly. I sat up, and saw that undefined thing ran very quickly towards the bottom of my TV stand. Because my right hand didn't touch it, and I still couldn't see much (my room was pretty dark last night), and I was half awake, I thought I had been dreaming or halucinating. I turned on the light, and waited for a while. But after not hearing or seeing anything for a while, I turned the light off and prepared to go to sleep again.

Seconds later, I heard a light rumbling sound of plastic and other light sounds as if something was running and hitting stuff (boxes, etc) on its way. So I immediately turned on the light again, and to my surprise, my half-conscious guess was right: there was a mouse running to the bottom of my TV stand! O_O So I jumped from the bed, and told my maid to prepare a mousetrap with food and placed it in front of my bedroom (and left the bedroom door wide open) to lure the mouse out of my room. I migrated to my parent's room to resume my sleep. About an hour later, the mouse was caught in the trap. But I didn't go back to sleep in my room. Still a bit traumatic about it. Thank God I wasn't bitten. My mom's finger was once bitten by a mouse while she was sleeping. We really should keep a cat in the house. But my mom refused completely, saying that toxoplasma is very dangerous for women and babies and children. Oh well. No use debating with doctors ^^;

Anyone ever had a similar experience? Hope not, though ~_~

"There are those relationships that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous..."
